Well, I'm not a particularly active drawer, partially because I'm not patient enough to be good at it, but I can use my journal to talk about gaming stuff. Most of it isn't exactly happy happy joy joy, but some of the things can be. I'll probably mark the subjects of such posts for convenience.

Now before I start, I do have to say that I'm willing to take back some of the cracks I put on Kid Icarus Uprising. While it still isn't perfect, I can much more safely deduce what is banworthy enough, especially insofar as keeping kiting under control. What I have discovered is that Super Speed turns out to humiliate Aries Armor and Trade-Off while simultaneously having versatile usefulness, leveled Super Armor provides VERY useful Counter control (especially when I'm using a high armor club to begin with, so if I was able to fit in L3, I'd effectively have permanent Aries), and here's the big one: Black Hole shuts down prolonged kiting with

I ended up shelving Kid Icarus Uprising because the balance issues are beyond ridiculous. Which is a shame because the game was completely promising, even actually allowing power guys to combat the equalizer-gone-wrong that is flinching, unlike in certain other games. *coughsupersmashbroshack* But it turns out that clubs and cannons are awful in the metagame. What happened?

Tried out the new Fire Emblem. I'm not impressed.
Well, you know my complaints about it when I haven't even played the game. And I can be sure it's Nintendo being sellouts. Incidentally, I noticed this comment because I was rereading one of my journal entries to prepare a rant about the Kid Icarus Uprising fanbase, or failbase as I'll call it. They make the Fire Emblem's own failbase look DEEP, believe me.
I like your word 'failbase'. That's a really nice name to describe it. xD
And, I'm not too much into Kid Icarus so I don't know how the fanbase is as I usually don't pay attention to it, but man that sounds like a drag if they can make the FE (from what I've heard) sound deep.
